I started using it because I had a slightly compromised skin barrier, so I was looking for something gentler. I also wanted something oil-free so I could use it with eyelash extensions. It has proven to be excellent for removing makeup. You need to take a small amount on wet hands, rub it to create a lather, and then apply it to a dry face with makeup on, and it removes makeup perfectly. I use it as the first step in a two-phase facial cleansing routine. The only thing is that it really stings if it comes into contact with my eyes, so I can't use it around the eye area. It also has an unpleasant smell that took me a few months to get used to. Now I hardly notice it, but at first it was quite strange to use a cleanser with such a smell. The packaging is also large, so it lasts a very long time.

I have quite sensitive and dry skin, for which this face wash wasn't perfect, although it was better than the others. It doesn't sting, it doesn't cause irritation, but it also stings so much that I have to apply a moisturizing cream to my face immediately after using it. It might be a good choice for those with slightly dry skin.
